Manon Golos

As a backend development intern at LYTE Studios, I worked extensively with Django to design, build, and optimize RESTful APIs. I developed scalable API endpoints, implemented secure authentication and authorization, and optimized database queries to improve performance and efficiency. I also integrated third-party services for payment processing, ensuring secure transactions and seamless data handling. Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code was a key part of my work, along with using Git for version control—regularly making commits, creating pull requests, and reviewing code for quality and consistency. Additionally, I wrote unit tests to ensure the reliability of key features, strengthened my expertise in Django’s ORM, serializers, and class-based views, and applied best practices for request handling and API security. This experience allowed me to deepen my understanding of backend architecture while building robust and efficient backend systems.
