I help organizations with optimizing their work and increasing incomes with data-driven and artificial intelligence solutions. I work on the full data pipelines from collecting, cleaning, preparing data through mining, and analyzing the data, designing machine learning models to deploying ML-backed systems to production at scale. I built full data pipelines from collecting, cleaning, and preparing data through mining and analyzing the data, up to designing and training machine learning models.

I was responsible for shaping the company's AI strategy for improving non-invasive glucose monitoring. My job involved aspects like device calibration, measurement noise reduction, and personalized medicine.

We build a patient blood management system to optimize the usage of blood during the process from donation to transfusion. I was responsible for the company's data science, external integrations, and AI strategy. I designed and implemented machine learning algorithms and expert systems to analyze medical data. We worked with Python and its machine learning and data science packages (NumPy, pandas, sklearn, Keras, Tensorflow, XGBoost, notebooks), decision rules (durable_rules), docker, and docker-compose.e

We designed and implemented algorithms and infrastructures for our clients to detect anomalies in business intelligence metrics. Moreover, the solution we built performs predefined actions based on detected anomalies. We worked with InfluxData and the TICK stack, Python and its machine learning and data science packages, NodeJS, MongoDB, AWS (S3, EC2, security groups, Route 53, API).

I designed a provenance-aware system for efficient processing static and dynamic graph data (linked data). I also enhanced this system to support hypothetical queries. I worked with Linux, C/C+, and Python for data processing. I taught three courses: - Semantic Web and Linked Data (lectures and labs) - Semantic Web and Linked Data (research seminar) - NoSQL databases (lectures and labs) Moreover, I supervised students towards their thesis (MSc and PhD), I was actively involved in acquiring grants for new projects, and I coordinated efforts of scientists working on research projects. I also co-authored three books on Big Data: “Handbook of Big Data Technologies”, “Linked Data: Storing, Querying, and Reasoning”, and “Encyclopedia of Big Data Technologies”.

I run workshops on Semantic Web and Linked Data. I was actively involved in preparing grant proposals for which I designed Big Data architectures with linked data and machine learning.

In the eXascale Infolab (led by Professor Philippe Cudré-Mauroux) I designed and developed an efficient, scalable, and provenance-aware distributed database engine for Linked Data. I led a project on evaluating NoSQL databases for Linked Data, where I also designed benchmark scenarios. I worked with Linux, C/C+, AWS, NoSQL DBs, and Python for data processing. I was also involved in teaching activities (MapReduce, Linked Data) and supervising students.

In the Web and Media Group (under the supervision of Paul Groth) I was working on data provenance for Semantic Web.
