Project Overview : Predica, a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole Assurances, offers life insurance, retirement savings, and personal protection contracts. I contributed to the evolution of the web application managing personal protection advisory, in a Scrum/Jira team of 8 developers. Roles and activities: I was responsible for the following tasks : • Designed and implemented event-driven microservices exposing RESTful APIs, leveraging Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, and ksqlDB for real-time processing and integration across multiple systems. • Managed Kafka infrastructure via Kafka Confluent REST API, including Schema Registry and ksqlDB streams creation, updates, and monitoring using akhq.io, ensuring high availability and quick detection of anomalies. • Implemented producer and consumer APIs with Java/Spring Boot for real-time data ingestion and processing. • Ensured code quality through code reviews, Jenkins, and SonarQube metrics verification. • Created technical documentation and best practices for Kafka, stream processing, and RESTful API development. • Delivered multiple modules on time while maintaining high-quality coding standards.
