At Ekie, a start-up dedicated to democratizing access to justice and lawyers, I was part of a three-member technical team: a lead developer, a back-end developer (me) and a front-end developer. As lead back-end developer, I played a key role in developing new features, making technical and product decisions, as well as monitoring technology and carrying out various POCs. I joined the team during a transition to a hexagonal architecture, adopting a DDD approach. I also contributed to improving inter-team communication through the use of ubiquitous language and the technical and functional documentation of developments.
