Introduction
I build products with a soul. Currently Co-founder and CPTO at Trace, where we build the playability layer for live sport. F1 launch shipped to 25K players in 6 weeks with no paid media, live in 8 languages on web, iOS, Android, with 30%+ D30 retention and NPS 50. 20 years building consumer and B2B SaaS products. I've led teams of up to 18 people directly, with PMs reporting in across four roles (Ekino, OM, Elemint, Trace). Shipped to 25M+ fans at Olympique de Marseille, ran a Trace Bingo growth engine that holds D30 retention ~5x above consumer mobile industry median, run enterprise commerce builds at 100M+ groups (SFR, Trophy Group), and built Elemint as a multi-tenant Web3 SaaS platform sold to Formula 1, Universal Music, and OM. Along the way: Horizon Best of Category award for OM.fr, Marius Award and Web Summit ALPHA for Citydrive. Today I work AI-natively. Claude Code is my pair programmer for shipped production work: Trace Bingo's frontend, mobile apps, email orchestration with AI-generated content (300K msgs/month), translation pipeline across 8 languages. Same workflow for the side projects (Dance World, Ziip, Dungeon Storyteller). I help teams turn bold ideas into products that blend emotion, utility, and a little bit of mischief. www.mathieu.dev for the portfolio. Marseille-based, French and English bilingual.

Co-founder and CPTO at Trace, building the playability layer for live sport. We turn the universal fan instinct of "calling it" into a structured, social, identity-building game. No betting, no IP licensing. Two shipped products: • Trace Bingo (current focus): F1 prediction game. Pick 9 outcomes, arrange them on a 3×3 card, score against the global leaderboard each Grand Prix. F1 beta in 6 weeks with no paid media: 25K players, 750 active leagues, NPS 50, 0.6 k-factor. Live in 8 languages on web, iOS, Android. 8 creator partners including McLaren F1 Discord, Racing Statistics, Box Box Club, Formulap. Growth engine: weekly A/B messaging experiments with a rolling 10% control cohort, monthly user research, race-to-race product iteration. D30 retention median at 37% across 2026 season cohorts (~5x consumer mobile industry median, ~2x top-quartile). • Trace Collectibles: dynamic on-chain sport collectibles on Sui, debuting with the ATP Tour at the 2024 Nitto ATP Finals in Turin. Partners: ATP, Sui Foundation, Epam Systems. ~125K accounts, ~$300K early revenue. AI-native shipping with Claude Code as pair programmer: Trace Bingo's frontend, mobile apps, full email orchestration with AI-generated content (300K msgs/month), translation pipeline across 8 languages, plus a Virtual CFO agent that handles investor and VC interactions. Led 2 PMs + 3 engineers + 1 designer during the Collectibles launch with Epam. Stack: NestJS + Next.js + Postgres + AWS, real-time multi-tenant.

Co-founder & COO
Citydrive

Co-founder and COO of Citydrive, France's first city-center click & collect drive service for local shops, with a pilot in Aix-en-Provence and Venelles. Citydrive started from a conversation with Mikaël Rizzo, who saw the need for a drive service for the customers of his butcher shop. From day one we positioned it as a marketplace for independent local shops, not a single-merchant tool. Thesis: city centers and small merchants are under pressure. Giving them an innovative service offering can revitalize the centers and slow the desertification we've seen for 20 years. Citydrive fit a smart-city framing through its environmental angle (encouraging local consumption) and the digitalization of independent retail. Recognition: Web Summit ALPHA, Marius Award winner, EY Innovative Services Trophy finalist.
