I am the single point of contact for all technical aspects in the definition of new product to invoice to RBC’s client. In this role I provide guidance in the way data should be provided to the invoicing system. So I implemented all new products since September 2008. The goal is to produce accurate invoices within a specified time frame defined in the fee schedule signed by the client. These invoices are important for RBC as they are the basis of their revenues (between 12 and 18 million €/month) but meaningful for the clients as they impact directly the Net Asset Value of their Funds. In this context, I monitor the automated data flow and execute manual data flow. I also define business requirements and technical requirements in order to automate the manual data flow to reduce risks and maximize control for long term solution. In the meantime, I implement short term solutions by developing data extractions, transformations and injection scripts. I developed tools to support invoice production, reporting and invoice automated checks. I do handle the software provider relationship (incidents, change requests…). I developed queries and automate monthly management reporting. I am heavily involved in the Advantage invoicing software upgrade from FiServ. The goal is to ensure backward compatibility between current invoicing scheme and the new ones support by the new platform. I had to specify non regression testing and based on the results, produce requirements to have a zero client impact. I was responsible to provide guidance to allow operational constraints with the new system/infrastructure. Being responsible for the in & out bound data flow to/from the application. I specifically focused on performance testing and infrastructure validation.

I participated in various activities around the development (db design, PL/SQL and java development), migration from the previous system (data & workflow definition), roll-out and technical problem resolution.

As senior consultant, I have been involved in different studies. The task was to evaluate the impact and problems caused by new European financial regulations on information systems: SEPA & MIFID. I also created service offers and commercial offers for clients and prospects. I revamped the ASGARD website.
