The objective of the morphing flap is to optimize the aerodynamic efficiency on any point of the mission profile. As the prototyping of the scale 1 flap was in progress, I had to design a static test bench which would experimentally check : - the actuators of the flap can change its shape as expected - the flap structure can resist aerodynamic loads I designed the test bench, from the scope statement, to the design, and last the subcontracting of the manufacturing. This test bench was delivered on January 2017.
