In my role, I translated complex business challenges into actionable Generative AI strategies, leading a talented team to deliver impactful solutions. I built a high-performing team from the ground up, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence. My hands-on leadership in AI technologies positioned our practice as a thought leader in the industry.

I am responsible for developing AI & ML solutions and conducting Research & development (R&D). I train SLM, LLM models, evaluate the results. I collaborate with different teams and I manage fellow scientists. I develop and contribute to the creation of AI libraries, I construct data pipelines for the training and evaluating AI models. I create Proof of Concept (PoC) based on the business. I provide guidelines and recommendations to the company. I write and submit high quality scientific papers, and participate in AI workshops, conferences and communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately at all levels and audience. I developed various business applications such as Chatbot, OCR, Document Analysis, LLMs with RAG and I have used various technologies such as Pytorch, Python, TensorFlow, HuggingFace, LangChain, llamaindex, Ollama... I also Learned how to Manage a team, make PoC, R&D, communicate with costumers .... I Develop and train Large Language Models (LLMs) such as LLama3, Mistral, Gemma and BERT for diverse applications across various domains. This involves employing cutting-edge techniques like Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT), Instruct Tuning, Prompting, Quantization, Parameter-Efficient Fine-Tuning (PEFT), and LoRA, QLoRA to enhance the models' performance and adaptability.

I conducted R&D to obtain my PhD in Artificial Intelligence, specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) with a focus on adapting AI to genomics, immunogenetics, and DNA sequences. I collaborated with a diverse team of researchers and engineers to bring AI models into production and contributed to several scientific papers presented at various conferences. To stay abreast of the latest advancements, I conducted extensive literature studies on NLP, Transformers, DL, and Generative AI, applying this knowledge to my work and communicating the results to various partners. Additionally, I mentored and supervised junior researchers and Master's degree students, fostering their growth and development.

A great experience , every day is a new adventure , every day is a new challenge , because it is not about dealing only with industrial process (software engineering ) with all its details and complexities, deadlines and required quality of the service , but more than that you need to solve every one’s problem starting from technical to administrative once . As a project manager i learned that successful projects need the right team, people with whom you can share your dreams and make them true , As a senior software engineer , i always get excited to write a clean code that achieves big things .
