I worked in this role during my first year at university. This was a private events bar, so I had to quickly adapt to a new crowd every time I got to work and meet new people and learn about them. This greatly improved my interpersonal skills and made me better at meeting and talking to new people, an essential skill in the hospitality industry

This was a private artificial beach at a water sports complex near my hometown of Beuste in France. I would regulate entry into the beach, and sell tickets for it, as well as the surrounding activities (water slide, wake-boarding, drop-in). I would have to process over 1100 people on a busy day, and have to keep track of how many people bought each different kind of ticket by hand in tandem. I implemented a new ticket counting system there not long after i arrived to make it much easier to count how many of each ticket was sold each day.

J D Garage Equipment - JDGE

This was my first summer job. I worked with site engineers, assembling and fitting any garage equipment from tool cabinets, to pipework, to anchoring and mounting hydraulic lifts. I would be sent away to a site for a week, stay in a hotel for that duration, and Monday to Friday work with the site engineers for the first two weeks. For the second two weeks, I worked in the office and in the warehouse, making inquiry calls and cleaning up and packaging old garage equipment to be resold.
