First-time owner of a product, I designed and built a platform for brands to reach their audience with a plug-and-play e-commerce chatbot in Facebook’s Messenger. Customer goal was to reach consumers with app-fatigue, while having Messenger in their phones. Consumers could experience a full-featured shopping experience including delivery tracking. Achievements: - Built and launched the platform and 2 chatbots to hundreds of consumers and dozens of conversations - Connected via API to the e-commerce ecosystem like Prestashop, Stripe and Stuart for a truly 100% automated shopping experience - Roadmap included dropping cart reminders, retargeting, group conversations (= social shopping), and user-generated coupons to funnel organic growth.

Leading technology projects, I designed and built the V2 of our social media crawler, to be lean, antifragile and highly scalable to process millions of messages every day. This reduced our median content retrieval delay from 6 hours to 30 min.

This is where I learnt everything about product crafting (= engineering) from POC to production, managing delivery expectations, understanding velocity, staying on top of seemingly unlimited bugs with limited resources. I learned how technology worked and how it can be both a competitive advantage or a downfall.
