The tribe included 3 cross-functional squads (Payroll, Payment, and Payroll Accounting) of 20 team members (PMs, product designers, and developers). * Led the team globalizing the payroll preparing for global expansion. * Led the launch of Jisr Payment Wallet integrating with ANB, which is a central payment hub for all employer-employee financials (closed-loop wallet), serving 100,000 employees. * Conceptualized and set the roadmap of the EWA (Earned Wage Access) for employees, serving 50K employees.

CENOMI E-commerce was a part of the Cenomi Group (formerly known as Fawaz Alhokair Group). The company's goal was to revolutionize e-commerce in KSA and MENA by partnering with global brands such as Adidas, Nike, Zara, and more across various verticals to create the largest marketplace platform. In December 2023, Trendyol acquired the company to establish a new joint venture. About My Role As a member of an international cross-functional team, I worked on building the merchant side of the marketplace. My primary focus was to empower the merchants to create and manage their catalogs effectively on Cenomi.

I led a team of 25 smart minds across different departments; in tech, product, ops, sales, marketing, HR, and finance, to digitally transform the grocery and daily essentials retailing industry in Egypt. Improved Google Search Engine, applying Google guidelines, to return more accurate and secure search results with the highest utility and best quality for the end-user in Egypt. I was representing the user perspective in developing the Google algorithms process. I assessed the utility and quality of Google search engine results, including web, images, videos, and maps search results. My work helped Google to understand the search queries and users in Egypt and to detect new spammy tactics, accordingly, optimizing Google algorithms.
