Finst is a young startup that is dedicated to the development and production of electrical and electroacoustic musical instruments. Our goal is to provide professional and amateur musicians with excellent electrical string instruments; a replica of traditional acoustic instruments, such as oud, luth, mandolin, and baglama. The satisfaction of our customers is our highest priority and their needs are our improvement guide. Our innovating technology and signal processing methods vouch for an outstanding loyalty to the traditional and acoustic tone. Finst brings durability and promises a unique playing experience. Our manufacturing process is designed to not use noble resonating woods and overcomes the loss of sound quality with state-of-the-art signal processing methods. We collaborate with the best luthiers to refine the playability, sound equilibrium, and faithfulness toward the traditional instruments' tone. Thanks to experienced musicians, we ensure that the Finst instruments' tone satisfies our customers' expectations.

Leveraging the isotachophoresis and the deterministic lateral displacement in one microfluidic chip and developing of an experimental set to control and characterize the chip, in the LMIS4 laboratory, at EPFL. This 6-month project consisted of manufacturing the chip in the cleanrooms (CMi), running experiences, overcoming the physical challenges, processing the data (fluorescent imaging) and analyzing them.
