About me

Intro

I build and own web products that people rely on every day. At Veltiston AI I’m one of the engineers who own a suite of apps for US public transportation: a school-bus platform used by 50,000+ people in public districts, and a paratransit platform for large US transit agencies. I shape the main features with the team, lead them, and build the core parts myself. The products I co-own: • Route planning: students, stops, schools and hubs turned into routes, runs and itineraries, with manual routing and vehicle, driver and fleet management. • Fleet tracking: live bus locations on Google Maps, itinerary replay, student rosters, approval workflows and run reports. • Operations dashboard: vehicle locations, inspections, reports and workflows for district transportation teams. • Administration: district accounts, settings, authentication, authorization and audit, used by every other app. • Trip requests: an Angular 20 app in an Nx monorepo with a shared component library and design system. • Paratransit platform: rebuilt from scratch with a NestJS backend and a Next.js frontend, covering scheduling, route-optimization runs, agencies, roles and permissions, two-factor sign-in and reporting. Along the way I migrated a production app from Angular 15 to 20, removed performance bottlenecks, and grew the Cypress end-to-end pipeline to 1,200+ tests that run every night. Before Veltiston I built full-stack products as a freelancer and intern: a Next.js + Django REST platform for UM6P Executive Education, a real-time tracking system for 500+ devices, and Angular + NestJS modules over Neo4j at alpha10X. On my own time I build complete products: Matcha (real-time chat and WebRTC video calls, Prometheus/Grafana, Playwright), WorkHub (an HR SaaS in an Nx monorepo with Next.js and NestJS), Fundly (a personal-finance PWA), ft_transcendence (multiplayer Pong with NestJS and Socket.io), a FastAPI streaming app, and React Native (Expo) mobile apps. I trained at 1337 Coding School (42 Network): peer-to-peer and project-based, with no lectures. It taught me to own a problem end to end and to learn any stack fast. Stack: TypeScript, Angular, RxJS, React, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS, Django REST, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Prisma, Redis, Socket.io, WebRTC, Cypress, Playwright, Docker, Nx. Open to frontend and full-stack roles, remote from Morocco (UTC) or with relocation.

I shape and lead main features with the team and build the core parts. • Route planning: students, stops, schools and hubs feeding route and run building, manual routing, itineraries, and vehicle, driver and fleet management. • Fleet tracking: live bus locations with clustered, animated markers, itinerary replay on a timeline, student rosters, approval workflows and run reports. • Operations dashboard: live vehicle locations, inspections, reports and workflows for district transportation teams. • Administration: district accounts, application settings, authentication, authorization and audit, used by every other app. • Trip requests: Angular 20 app in an Nx monorepo with a shared component library and design system. • Paratransit platform: rebuilt from scratch with a NestJS backend and a Next.js frontend, covering scheduling, route-optimization runs from uploaded trip files, agencies, roles and permissions, JWT sessions, two-factor sign-in and reporting. • Invited to the Athens office as a key engineer on the route-optimization product (Mar–Apr 2026): worked on-site with the project leads and core team on development, technical alignment and planning. • Migrated a production app from Angular 15 to 20 across 218 files; removed duplicate API calls and leaked subscriptions. • Scaled the Cypress E2E pipeline to 1,200+ tests in the nightly CI/CD (Jenkins) pipeline.
