– Operate the Fraud management tool and work closely with the vendor to optimize it, review performance, and implement improvements. – Analyze large data sets and perform ad-hoc analysis to identify fraud trends, take action to stop fraud activity, enhance fraud rules, and improve automation. – Collaborate closely with the customer service and manual review teams to improve risk tools and detection of emerging e-commerce fraud trends and customer disputes. – Collaborate closely with the commercial and product teams to understand upcoming changes and pro-actively put in place the fraud prevention strategy. – Prepare and develop weekly and monthly reports and dashboards to monitor and benchmark performance. – All of that is accompanied with AI Fraud Tool management, maintenance, and machine learning. – As well as responsible for the company's dispute management.

– Usage of statistical modeling including Excel to collect and interpret financial data and to analyze current assets, liabilities, risk exposures, and changing market conditions as well as Credit risk analytics to assess and manage risk. – Analyzing market data to forecast future risk and returns using data mining, analysis and statistical modeling. – Identify and analyze areas of potential risk to assets or earning capacity including rates, spreads, FX, equity, mitigating factors of assets and lending products, perform Value-at-Risk, corporate stress testing, correlation, and Risk Capital and Risk Appetite Ratio analyses by developing risk-assessment models, tools and methodologies to forecast, analyze portfolio performance, explain risk positions, or recommend changes. – Analyzing Risk and credit analysis for portfolio and stress testing scenarios. – Evaluating financial risks, simulate funding scenarios, and evaluate risk profiles for equity and debt portfolios. – Controlling Risk Manage Hedge Funds including their portfolio, performance, leverage and liquidity profiles. – Conduct risk/return analyses using historical data and projections. – Model development and model validation. – Working on risk and liquidity framework for monitoring risk related processes and analytics for up-to-date risk controls and governance. – Evaluating current capital allocations, risk exposure, and risk appetite.

– I did learn a lot from this internship, some of which is seizing the advantage of experiencing the day-to-day interactions inside the brokerage company and help out clients with their problems like activating their accounts, and help them sell and buy securities. – As well as following up with the different macroeconomic variables through sitting in front of an actual stock exchange screen that plots all of the current issued securities in the market. – I was given the chance to notice all of the daily changes and interactions on all the issued securities and analyze these changes using different technical analysis tools in order to give better advices for our stakeholders. – In addition to all of that, I dealt with several customers using different softwares made by EGX in order to facilitate the exchange process on different levels.

– I've known the basic tools of market research as well as the different phases of the market research process. – I've gotten more familiar with the different departments of Nielsen starting from the Qualitative and Quantitative departments up to the Retail Management System. – At the end of the internship, we suggested a project that would make the Retail Management process easier using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in order to lessen the human direct and face-to-face contact during the pandemic. – My group and I presented a software that will help the Nielsen acquire data about the market with high accuracy and less human error taking into consideration the cost minimization goal, and the fast easy installation of the application.

– The program offered many lectures and discussions about Human Resources, Clearing House Banking Process, Risk Management, and different Banking Operations.

– I did attend a lot of fruitful lectures that discussed serious emerging topics including the Financial Inclusion, Digital Transformation, Business Étiquettes, Time Management, Communication Skills, and Presentation Skills.
