As a beacon of creativity, I thrive on exploring alternatives, discovering solutions, and bringing new ideas to life. My journey in product design began at Bellecour School of Arts, where I graduated in 2007. Since 2015, entrepreneurship has been my calling. NineFive was a centralized platform designed to revolutionize the way freelancers and their clients collaborate and manage projects. It streamlined the sharing of project updates, files, and progress into a single, accessible location, facilitating seamless communication and feedback. This not only improved project outcomes and client satisfaction but also saved time by reducing the reliance on multiple tools and platforms. Additionally, NineFive provided insightful analytics, offering freelancers valuable insights into project engagement and performance, thereby helping them optimize their workflow and services. One of the last feature we worked and released was Wanda, a single LLM agent made for customer help. Wanda was able to answer with project and custom context to freelancers clients. Approach From a user-experience standpoint, the mission of NineFive was to create a singular platform for clients and freelancers alike. It gave a clear snapshot of ongoing tasks and defined future procedures, providing transparency that, coupled with productivity-boosting functions, promised substantial time and financial savings for SMEs within a few weeks. Our methodology was influenced by in-depth discussions with countless freelancers and smaller firms nationwide, from which we elicited precise understanding into their everyday operational requirements. This exhaustive data compilation steered the recalibration of NineFive, assuring it accommodated the particular needs of its intended users.

Hetchr was a centralized, bi-directional dashboard designed for developers, aiming to reduce the number of tools a developer uses alongside coding ones. By integrating popular tool APIs, we offered a dashboard that simplified actions and provided a comprehensive overview with ease, significantly reducing daily back-and-forth. It also allowed managers to gain a 360-degree view of team work in seconds. Unfortunately, we had to pivot because developers did not trust our tool enough to let it perform their actions, leading to an increase in time spent on tools instead of a decrease. This was a blindspot not anticipated during countless user interviews. Approach In leading the UX approach for the development of Hetchr, I initiated a deep dive into the daily challenges faced by developers. Through extensive user research, including surveys and interviews, I uncovered a critical need for a tool that consolidates various development tools into one efficient dashboard. I adopted a design thinking methodology, orchestrating brainstorming sessions that led to the ideation of a centralized, bi-directional dashboard. We iterated through prototypes, refining our solution based on real user feedback to ensure it was not only intuitive but also trusted by developers. Our user-centric design process emphasized ease of use, aiming to streamline workflows and enhance productivity, thereby addressing the core issue of tool fragmentation in the developer community.

The Reward Vision app was designed to foster collaboration and transparency within the workplace by utilizing a unique token distribution system. Each month, employees received an equal number of tokens to exchange among themselves, rewarding cooperation and mapping collaborative networks. This system extended to external partners, aiding in identifying valuable providers and clients. The UI/UX strategy emphasized simplicity, engagement, and insightful analytics, ensuring the app was both user-friendly and a powerful tool for enhancing workplace culture and external relations. Approach For the Reward Vision app, our UI/UX approach centered on creating an intuitive and engaging experience for users to incentivize collaboration effectively. We focused on a user-friendly interface that allowed easy distribution and exchange of tokens among employees. Emphasis was placed on seamless navigation and clear visual cues to facilitate understanding and usage of the token system. Special attention was given to the analytics feature, designed to provide insights into collaboration patterns and external network interactions, ensuring users could effortlessly identify valuable connections within and outside the company. Our design aimed to foster a positive culture of recognition and collaboration, making the process of giving and receiving tokens both rewarding and insightful.

Urbee was a visionary app launched in March 2017, designed to revolutionize how users discover their surroundings without relying on keyword searches. By aggregating open data, it presented information across various categories based on visual cues and user location, offering a direct, unfiltered exploration experience. Additionally, it enabled local territories to push relevant, contextual information to users. Despite achieving a 30% retention rate three months post-launch, challenges with lengthy and difficult payment processes from territorial clients led to its discontinuation in 2018. Approach The development of Urbee focused on harnessing open data to create a user-centric, intuitive interface that prioritized speed and visual discovery over traditional search methods. This approach aimed to mitigate the bias of sponsored search results and provide a more authentic exploration experience. Key to Urbee's strategy was its ability to deliver location-based, timely information from local territories directly to users, enhancing relevance and engagement. The project's commitment to a seamless and efficient user experience underscored its innovative vision, even as financial and operational challenges eventually halted its journey.
