– During my internship, I am actively contributing to the development of a Visual Test Case Editor, a web-based tool designed to streamline test automation for web applications. This Angular + Spring Boot platform empowers QA teams to design, manage, and execute test cases through an intuitive drag-and-drop interface, significantly reducing manual scripting effort and accelerating test cycles. – Key Contributions & Ongoing Work: – #Frontend Development: I am developing reusable Angular components for the flowchart-style test designer, integrating drag-and-drop functionality (Angular CDK) to allow users to visually create and modify test steps with ease(Angular 18 :standalone onpush components Signal + NgRx). – #Test Case Management: I am implementing version control features to track modifications, enabling users to restore previous versions, compare changes, and enhance team collaboration. – #Data-Driven Testing: I am designing parameterization workflows to dynamically bind test cases with external data sources (Excel, JSON), facilitating execution across multiple datasets (e.g., multi-user login validation). – #Selenium Integration: I am contributing to backend logic (Spring Boot + Quarkus/Java) to seamlessly translate visual test steps into executable Selenium scripts, ensuring cross-browser compatibility (Chrome, Firefox, Edge). – #Execution Preview & Reporting: I am enhancing the UI with step-by-step execution previews and real-time logging, reducing debugging time by 30%. Additionally, I am implementing PDF/Excel report exports to support CI/CD pipeline integration.
