During my 6-week internship as a Java Backend Developer, I worked on building and optimizing Spring Boot WebFlux applications with MongoDB integration. I contributed to developing vendor-specific APIs, implementing CSV upload & processing, implement payment follow up reminder service to send and schedule reminers to customers, writing unit tests for critical services, and integrating third-party APIs like D7SMS and Meta business API for notifications. I also designed a vendor-based report scheduling system using Reactive Programming (Mono & Flux) and ReactiveMongoRepository. Throughout the internship, I gained hands-on experience with WebFlux architecture, API development, MongoDB schema design, unit testing, and vendor-based authentication. This experience strengthened my technical expertise, debugging skills, and understanding of real-world backend system design while improving my teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
