À propos

Introduction

I created and was fully in charge of website ABC Argent (abcargent.com), a website about personal finance and alternative ways to make money offline and offline. I was some kind of jack of all trades for ABC Argent, I was dealing with SEO, design, content, linking, partnerships, marketing, community management and social networks. In total, more than 250 posts have been published under my lead, for a total of more than 10 millions of visits, a community of 20000 people subscribed to my weekly newsletter and also some appearances on TV and digital newspapers: Rue89, Europe1, C8, Sud Radio. ABC Argent's strength : - it was #1 on many very competitive search queries on Google.fr, following a very strong organic SEO strategy and many free partnerships with other websites in the same domain. - ABC Argent's posts were deep and thorough, detailed, actionable, and shareable: time on site increased, posts were shared => very good indicators for Google.fr - Monetization has been strongly optimized as well, leading to a revenue up to 20 cts€ per visitor some months. My process: - At the very beginning of ABC Argent, I was the only one writing content and posts, publishing it, managing the community, optimizing the content and the partnerships. I was doing it all by myself - After a few years, I started delegating content production, edition and publication, to be able to focus mainly on SEO and monetization. After 6 years and more than 10 millions of visits, I decided to sell the site to take care of my new-born daughter and then go back to my first love: Web development.

Senior Engineer

Buongiorno

I have been working for Buongiorno for 5 years as a Java/J2EE Senior Software Engineer. I have first taken part in the regional implementation of a Customer Acquisition Tool for Brazil, a web interface used by marketers and designers to build splash screen to get mobile users to subscribe to our product lists. Starting September 2010, i took charge of the analysis, specifications and implementation of the same platform but for Argentina. Part of my work was to understand the specificities of Argentina market with the team in Buenos Aires, and to adapt the implementation to those particular elements. I then talked to the different providers and partners and make the tool suitable with their own products, and took fully part in the release of the platform and the subsequent improvements. During that process, I had the opportunity to be a Scrum master for a few months, and even got to travel to Argentina to train our remote office on the Customer Acquisition Tool. I was then in charge of the exact same work, but for the Mexico platform. Analysing, specifying and implementing our Customer Acquisition Tool, but for the specificities of Mexico market. Starting 2013, as part of a global move inside the Tech team in the company, the Customer Acquisition Tool got developed from scratch and released on a global scale : each country platform (Argentina, Brazil, Mexico) soon became a simple regional leg of the platform and there was no more implementation tasks on my side. My role turned into one of helping the integration between Tech team in Madrid and with remote marketing teams in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico, which gave me the chance to spend a year in our office in Mexico to help local teams get a better hang at the different tools and configurations. I was missing some "action", since my daily job was becoming less and less operational, so I decided to leave the company.
