Associate Professor of The Business of Wine course in the Barcelona campus of IES Abroad, a not-for-profit study abroad and internship provider. I have designed the syllabus for the course, as well as extracurricular activities, working with a number of local and international partners.

For over 17 years, I have provided multilingual communication services for a number of clients in the wine and travel industries. These services included: - Translation and interpreting services in Spain, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom - Consulting in the wine and tourism industries - On-site and online wine educator - Food and wine tour guide for a number of leading companies including Devour Tours, Wanderbeak - Wine and food experience curation and creation for top industry players like Sir Hotels - Market and new business opportunities research - Copywriting and transcreation in English, Spanish and Russian - Language training in English, Spanish and Russian I successfully worked with a number of public organizations – including the Barcelona city council and Barcelona tourism board, museums and galleries, major international retailers and other companies. Among my projects are books, articles and localized websites.

Copywriting and content creation for a leading wine industry's social media agency and some of their key accounts, including California Wine Institute or Familia Martínez Zabala group.

I have led the Spanish Education department in a dynamic wine school that is Rack and Return, where I have taught WSET 1 and WSET 2 programmes in Spanish, and also in English. The courses I have taught have been offered in classroom and online format, and the students have come from a variety of backgrounds, from professional bartenders, sommeliers to wine educators and wine lovers in the beginning of their wine appreciation path.

I helped organize, prepare and produce business, management and retail tours for FastForward, a leading company on the market, specialized in management tours focuces on innovations, disruptive ideas, and technological breakthroughs across different sectors. Our main clients included some of the leaders of Russian and Ukranian food retail, like Vkusvill supermarket chain, and companies and instituttions we visited in Europe range from a leading startup incubator in Paris to the most forward-thinking retailers in Amsterdam. My mission working with FastForward has been to build cross-cultural and cross-language bridges between Russian-speaking companies and Europe-based businesses, working in a variety of specific roles and handling dynamic and challenging situations.

In my role of consulting sommelier at Restaurante Iradier, I developed a wine programme, that involved the following tasks: - I created the wine lists for Iradier Restaurant and Cèntric Café from scratch - I liaised with a dozen of major wine suppliers in the city - I conducted staff training tastings, as well as wine fair and local wineries visits - I communicated with customers to suggest customized wine pairings matching general menu and daily specials.

In my role of shop assistant & wine educator at Vivinos, specialized on fine Spanish wines, I managed the shop inventory, made personalized advice to the shop customers and conducted educational tastings on Spanish wine & Spanish foods, primarily in English.

I have worked with the Barcelona Tourism Board for over 10 years, starting at the city information points and eventually moving to the International Promotion department. In my role as a freelance contractor, I attended major travel fairs in Berlin, Moscow and London, where I assisted Barcelona Tourism Board in liaising with key clients, collecting visitors data, providing tailored information about the city and handling some of the meetings with the tourism industry representatives.

For almost 3 years I was a Russian language and culture instructor at the Higher School of Protocol and Institutional Relations (ESPRI). I taught this course at one of the undergraduate degrees, having developed the course syllabus and examination technique.
