Introduction
I graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Cairo University. My career began as an Economic Researcher at the Center for Economic and Financial Research Studies (CEFRS) at the Faculty of Economic & Political Science at Cairo University. Since then, I have gained experience working with various national and international organizations, including IDSC, Booz Allen Hamilton, CIDA, JICA, UNDP, and Palm Hills for real estate development. Over the past 22 years, my work experience has been diverse, covering areas such as SME development and promotion, data management and analysis, gender and governance, development assistance management, monitoring and evaluation of development projects in TVET, education, and energy generation (with a focus on renewable energy). Additionally, I have been involved in formulating policies in the industrial sector and investment climate, analyzing international flows of FDI, and forecasting demand and supply in the real estate market. Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. degree in Public Administration from Cairo University. In my current role as a Project Manager at the American University in Cairo, in collaboration with UN Women Egypt, I am responsible for managing the annual updates of women's representation on boards of banks, public sector companies, Egyptian Exchange (EGX) listed companies, and the Financial Regulatory Agency (FRA). Throughout my professional journey, I have demonstrated proficiency in working with econometric computer packages like Econometric Views, as well as statistical packages such as SPSS, STATA, and E-views. I am skilled in managing and analyzing large datasets and possess both qualitative and quantitative analytical abilities.
