Improving Oracle stored procedures performance, testing connection with Talend.

Core Responsibilities I was responsible for maintaining and improving existing systems and introducing new technology and features to enhance the systems functionality according to client requests. • Developed server-side procedures and created database structures for mission-critical environments with high-volume (hundreds of millions records) data operations data conversion (PL/SQL, SQL) • Developed in house web Market Settlements and Transfer Solution system for energy market participants (clients) (WebLogic, J2EE, REST Web Services, Servlets, JSP, Java Beans, XML, HTML) • Export data from Sybase database, data cleansing and load into Oracle (SQL Loader, Pl/SQL) • Prepared design documentation, unit testing, presented walkthroughs, and resolved bug reports • Completed Oracle performance tuning and optimization • Investigated and developed cross browsers compatibility for AEMO website • Optimized and extended Java code to provide data import/export through local and mounted FTP folders • Performed technical analysis and software code development of large Data Warehouses to support data transformation and loading • Created, updated and supported technical documentation • Liaised with clients to provide technical expertise and end-user support

Projects: Developed internet accessible Track and Trace System to display consignment tracking data and proof of delivery documents loaded as images into oracle database to authorized users. Developed Customer Service System for the workflow management, searching, escalating and reporting to manage communication with clients. Internet Freight tracking system: 3-tiers client-server architecture with multi-level system access security allows clients and company staff to check orders processing stage. Developed IT Request System for the purpose of managing help desk calls and requests to IT department from users, accident reports.
