Analytics Engineer / BI Lead at Vulog, a global car-sharing platform, since May 2020. I own a complete data ecosystem, from cloud engineering to executive dashboards, managing a BigQuery warehouse of several million rows across 200+ tables and views, spanning the US and Europe regions. Modeling & BI: I design data models using a medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) and lead the Tableau Cloud platform, with around 100 dashboards used by multiple departments and external clients (~100 active users), including several colleagues trained to build their own dashboards. Data Engineering: I design and maintain pipelines on GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Cloud Scheduler, App Engine), with SQL transformations and cloud cost optimization. I built a parking-restriction detection tool (geospatial calculations on BigQuery), orchestrated via Cloud Scheduler/Cloud Run, automatically generating tickets for field agents and discounts to encourage customers to relocate vehicles. I also built a multi-channel alerting system (SMS, email, agent app) and real-time dashboards with measurable operational impact. Strategy & business: I scope requirements with clients and partners (specifications, cost estimates in person-days), negotiate Tableau license purchases with Salesforce, and led the market research and competitor analysis behind Vulog's expansion into Montreal and Lyon, providing leadership and shareholders with key figures. Method: I work in Agile (Scrum/Kanban, Jira) with Data Engineering, Data Science, Product, and Business teams. Ongoing initiative: migrating the transformation layer to dbt to make currently scattered tables/views more reliable through versioned, tested models.
