Subject: Securing an ICN-IoT network with the Blockchains. The goal of this internship is multiple: one direction is to consider typical IoT security, transactions or contracts, and to apply blockchain principles on top of ICN: thus the challenge is to use and improve current ICN mechanisms (including caching) to provide infrastructure for blockchains, in the ultra-distributed, and energy-constrained context of IoT. Another direction is the converse: in ICN networks, in-network computation, caching, storage are possible, using all the flexibility of the naming; in particular edge-computing is possible; then for some scenarios of IoT, the ICN networks will require the use of blockchains (either embedded internally in the ICN network, or in the ICN application): novel adaptation blockchains for such purpose are to be explored.

In this internship, we worked in the development of a desktop application for the management of a training center, which should be integrable in the company's existing ERP. In the development process we used ADO.Net and C# as main programming language and framework.
