Introduction

👉Abacchus objective is to change completely the way wine is learned : 97,5% of those who are ready to pay to learn wine do not do it 🤔! Abacchus 💡innovative approach is completely different from classical wine learning schools : Wine learning must be fun and leverage the best way to learn : regular wines comparison: "Taste & learn" is our tagline ! After a lot of analysis 🤓 of the market & surveys, people find it really cool to learn wine at home, with friends, by comparing wines on a same theme (region, winegrape...), with some online & printed support. #DIY #wineisfun #unabashed #elearning #eductech Abacchus products : -1) Abacchus wine app 🤳 : Online Wine encyclopedia & quiz (french content) : 90K download, 35K user sessions / month, 5,8 min / session, 4K MAU, 4,7/5 Android, 4,6/5 iPhone I designed & developed the front end (Balsamiq mockup, Figma more recently, Angular.js/ionic ) & produced the contents. Small evolutions & bug correction on the backend (mySql, PHP, docker) 2) Taste & learn wine Boxes 📦: one-shot wine tasting boxes AND monthly subscription-based learning programs dedicated to a different level of knowledge : 55 one-off packaged wine boxes, 4 subscription-based programs with pedagogical engineering contents 📚: +300 wines sources, 120 liflets & sellable papers , 12 videos, 40 Blog articles Results : + 5000 tasting sold. CSAT : 4.8 / 5. 3) 🛒 Web shop to sell the wine boxes & subscriptions. 18K User sessions (79% SEO, 9% Abacchus App, 7% affiliation, 3% email, 2% social network). 1% conversion rate Prestashop & Wordpress. Location-Based Services innovation & business development

Within the space business unit of Atos, there was the will to extend the business to the development of applications using GPS & Galileo 🛰. My mission was to analyse the LBS (Location-based services) market and development the business around it. Today we would call it IoT applications 😁 In practice, I knew how Galileo was working but nothing about this new field. I think I have analysed almost all possible business using a GPS👀 ! Different fields were very promising : eHealth & Vehicles. I had plenty of ideas 💡of development, I developed relationships with R&D labs, startups, SME... with a lot of value.... But how to demo concrete stuff to your customers without an investment line of budget to build at least a MVP or a functional concept 😅? I then discovered all the French government & UE funds for innovation 💡 (FUI, ANR, 7th PCRD). The money I needed to see my ideas becoming reality 🤩! I thus managed to build partnerships and consortium with groups, sme and labs on different innovation projects : - 🧓BéA : LBS services for elderdy people with low autonomy (Alzheimer disease...) - 🚗FLITS : Track& Trace solution for cars - 🍃Eco-driving, Pay As You Drive, priPAYD mobile app for insurance - 🗺a Tourist guide with indoor location - Context Aware Computing (Android smartphone and Cloud Computing) platform

The Atos' Space Business Unit in Toulouse was doing great projects, far beyond a classical IT services provider. Contribution to major Space programs like ISS, Rosetta, Galileo, Ariane5, various observation satellites, etc. But it was known only by the Atos Busines Unit and the R&D activities were decreasing ! 😅 My role was twofold : 1) Help better structure and present the Atos solutions 2) Foster innovation & R&D with key customers (CNES, Thales, Astrium, Spot-image) What I did : Manage Research & Technology projects - structure the solution portfolio & project references in the space domain -performed a survey in next Space Programs and technical trends for R&D -discussed with key customers & Atos own astrophysicians about potential ideas Concretely we managed to propose & do 2 "R&D projects for the CNES in a new areas that are now called Big Data & Machine learning : R&D #1 🤯: Each satellite looking in a space direction generate 1 TB of data. How to cross-check easily data of 2 satellites knowing that only a 3D mathematical formula can be used (first AWS map-reduce services...) R&D #2 🤯 : Can a pure Mathematical / statistical approach can rebuild the catalogue of know Exoplanets ? Meaning that the algorithm will learn to recognise the exoplanets with probabilities. It was an amazing experience to see the discussion between the astrophysicians & the yound maths statistics student that did the job.
