Further to BR acquisition by LSEG, our teams have joined forces with LSEG's Information Services Division existing Sustainable Investment activities, to provide enhanced ESG analysis services and perspectives to investors and asset managers. Our SI Solutions team's approach is based on original quantitative and investigative data gathering and processing, to inform and help investment decisions through solid ESG facts and figures.

In March 2019, Beyond Ratings became the first financial rating agency to systematically integrate Environmental, Social and Governance criteria into its financial ratings. In anticipation of that, I had joined BR as Chief Compliance Officer to help structure policies, procedures, Code of conduct, systems architecture etc. in order to fully respect regulatory requirements and industry standards. BR's application file with EU regulator ESMA kept us busy over the period, but the whole process also brought BR to an even higher level of professionalism !

Steering of the company during its initial steps on the volatile French (and international) solar market : strategy, market differentiation, finance & administration. Widespread grid parity now ushers in a new phase for solar energy, combined with rapid advances in storage (helped by electric vehicles) they are changing the global energy picture : solar is competitive... and needs big investments to keep growing. SolarNet developed both a number of solar rooftop power plants in France, and a monitoring system for such plants in order to maximise performance.

Advisory work on financial, economic & strategic issues linked to Environment, Renewables and Sustainable Development. Our clients have come from both public and private sectors (e.g. Ministry, Agency, Industry, Local authority, start-up, academia etc.) on issues such as evaluation, modelling, fund raising, economic intelligence, benchmarking, market analysis and others, for subjects/sectors such as oil spills, genetic resources, the carbon market, tourism/camping environmental impacts, energy, Sustainable Development 1.0.1. etc.

• Identify & co-ordinate actions with the various Divisions, and risks and communication activities • Propose synergies and commercial opportunities (+4M€ turnover) for the whole Group in these areas

1st French national in charge of a team (BNP, Crédit Lyonnais, Midland, NatWest) which was both an interface between Eurotunnel and the 200+ banks financing the project (GBP8billion of bank funding) : • Proactive input in updating projections (revenues and financing), • Negotiate with stakeholders on necessary changes/adaptation to contracts & procedures, • Generate ideas to shape a satisfactory way out of Eurotunnel’s then unstable financial situation.
