Slalom, Denver Colorado: 2021-2024 Helped clients to migrate their on-premises ETL infrastructure into a AWS cloud environment and unit-tested to ensure accuracy of data and processes. Updated and maintained CI/CD pipelines for different analytic reporting pipelines running on an Airflow EC2 infrastructure using Java, Python, Airflow, Apache Spark, Snowflake, Hive, Gradle, Docker, AWS cloud technologies and Kubernetes.

Worked with the data analytics team to develop and improve python programs that automate the company’s accounting and payments systems. Worked with the company’s various data platforms and APIs to store third party data and to publish Tableau reports and dashboards that visualize and report on various critical KPIs for the company and its advertising campaigns.

Data Engineer Contractor working at PwC through Hays Recruiting. Worked with Data Engineering team on process mining product development to create custom data visualizations. Used CSS, HTML, node, zoomdata API and GoJS javascript library to help form connections to MemSQL databases, apply ETL work to data and create custom animated charts and animations with various drill-down options. Working on halo analytics product development to build custom content. Wrote python programs using pandas, logging and halosdk to create packages that are used by the CAMS suite of web applications, allowing audit and accountant users to create, send and retrieve data from MemSQL database and generate various accounting and financial analytics.

Working with the business intelligence team to create backend automations that enable Fareharbor’s various technology platforms, APIs and SQL servers to interact and issue updates. Created ETL processes to update and transform data using routinely run python scripts and working to ensure all the company’s data and reports are refreshed daily. Working on development requests to add new features and data automations to the company’s CRM, sales and marketing platforms. Helped migrate company’s data automations into AWS EC2 platform and data refresh schedules to AWS EC2 instance of ubuntu running Tableau Server and wrote bash scripts to automate publishing of data visualizations. Helped build a web-application accounting integration using the Quickbooks API and Django to allow Fareharbor's customers to automatically integrate their sales, AR and AP data with their accounting software.

This is a coding bootcamp focused on web development and data science in particular. Some examples of work I've created in this bootcamp are using Python’s request and json libraries to compile large sample of beer data from BreweryDB’s API. Using Pandas, Matplotlib and NumPy I ran a statistical analysis to examine certain trends and relationships in BreweryDB’s samples and generated graphs to visually explain statistically significant trends. I've also developed a web application using Flask, Javascript and CanvasJS that displays salary data for every NFL team with two different drill-down options to see individual player salary and spending on subcategories, as well as division analysis data that compares relative categorical spending by NFL division.

Worked with Sales and Account Management teams to perform variety of financial analyses for prospective customers and current clients. Created and maintained all tools and automated processes to help perform financial analyses and transmission of different health insurance information for Account Management, Sales, Senior Management and Medical Underwriting using Excel and VBA. Wrote and ran SQL queries on several databases working with the company’s financial, product, pricing, underwriting, customer and membership data. Published these reports to tableau using variety of data visualization methods.

Worked in the credit department for Cargill AgHorizons. My duties included completing credit assessments for customers seeking financing, helping to manage work queues for Senior Analysts, and approving customers for credit.

Set up pharmacy benefits of health insurance plans to process and adjudicate claims, created and maintained health insurance plan tools and efficiencies, ran test claims on plans and performed analysis for quality assurance.

Served as a teacher’s assistant for Fall and Spring Semester for Introduction to Econometrics class taught by Professor Gary Krueger. My duties included grading assignments and hosting office hours to assist students with homework and course material.
