As Product Manager for a company like Schiller, which specialises in defibrillation and patient monitoring, my role is to define the specifications and developments for the products in my range, taking into account global markets, customer needs, technological and medical developments and the regulatory environment. I support the products in my range throughout their time on the market by: - Participating in the collection and analysis of market data - Drafting specifications or product improvements - Monitoring the product throughout its life cycle - Participating in strategic and technological market intelligence - Drawing up documents to accompany devices - Presenting devices to a variety of audiences (trade fairs, etc.) I ensure that the products in my range meet the expectations of users and the market, in line with the Group's product strategy. And I guarantee the quality and reliability of the equipment on the market. To manage my projects, I work with and coordinate the various departments (regulatory affairs, clinical affairs, quality, R&D, production, logistics, service, etc.) by leading meetings. In order to carry out my tasks successfully, I position myself as a real point of reference for my products, ensuring the sharing of reliable information and working closely with Group management, the international distribution network, end customers, subcontractors and partners.

I am a clinical applications engineer at Johnson&Johnson, specialising in cardiology and rhythmology. My job is to help the rhythmologist improve the heart rhythm of patients in operating theatres by providing electrophysiological mapping of the heart with the CARTO™ 3 system and ablating asynchronous and non-functioning heart cells using intracardiac catheters. The CARTO™ 3 system is a cutting-edge technology that enables 3D cardiac electrophysiological mapping using a small intravascular catheter to reduce incision size, improve diagnostic accuracy and enhance recovery. The Carto system has three basic components - Electrocardiogram (ECG) with body surface ECG signals and intracardiac electrogram (IC) channels. - Magnetic localisation technologies provide localisations based on the electromagnetic fields generated by the localisation pad and measured by catheters with integrated magnetic sensors. - Mapping technologies used to map heart chambers by combining accurate localisation data with ECG data. To apply this technology, in-depth knowledge of cardiac physiology is required and has been provided by international lecturers. I am taking this opportunity to develop my expertise on the anatomy of the heart, electro physiology and the main heart rhythm diseases such as : - Atrial flutter (AF) - Atrial tachycardia (AT) - Atrioventricular nodal reentry tachycardia (AVNRT) - Atrioventricular reentry tachycardia (AVRT) My role was also to provide information on all the catheters available for mapping and ablation, with their specifications, uses and the preference of the rhythmologist to advise, assist and build a relationship of trust. I worked with 5 hospitals and clinics in 4 different towns in south-west France, making sure I was at the cutting edge of the art.

I am an intern at MGH at the Gordon Center for Medical Imaging on in-vivo quantification of physiological processes using positron emission tomography. My research focuses on improving the diagnosis of Alzeihmer's disease by separating the off-target signal in PET imaging of tau [18F]MK6240 using dynamic sequence factor analysis. The goal of my project is to develop an analysis framework based on factorial analysis of dynamic sequences (FADS) to kinetically remove unwanted signal in PET imaging of [18F]MK6240 tau protein from off-target binding to extra-cerebral structures. To reach my objectives I had to develop specific skills in : - the construction of a 4D digital phantom mimicking dynamic images of [18F]MK6240 - adapting FADS to separate the different components of the [18F]MK6240 dynamic signal - testing the algorithm on the digital phantom.

I was an intern at UNC in Pinton's lab on ultrasound imaging for traumatic brain injury and super-resolution. My research focused on improving the diagnosis of Alzeihmer's disease by creating a higher resolution image by fusing a large number of images. The objectives of my internship were to develop image generation (beamforming) and data analysis tools for ultrasound imaging approaches. To reach my objectives I had to develop specific skills in : - image processing - ultrasound beamforming - data analysis to obtain a super-resolution image.
