[m]ABR CDN) Solutions. Successfully implemented Solution Life-Cycle for the industrialization of the solutions in the Solution Area.

Worldwide TV & Media Business Consulting for Ericsson Global Services organization, primarily around the Fabrix/Ericsson Video Storage & Processing Platform enabling ABR & RTSP Cloud DVR use-cases. Trusted advisor to a Tier-1 Cable MSO around the expansion/introduction of Cloud DVR in all their affiliates globally.

Product Line Manager for the Cloud DVR and RTSP pump products. Managing two Product Managers and a Validation Manager for Cloud DVR Gen1/2. Dotted line management of another six Product Managers for Cloud DVR Gen3. Strategic & tactical influencing/steering/coaching of a group of about thirty Technical Project Managers/Solution Architects/System Architects/ Integration Engineers across Alcatel-Lucent and an external R&D/OEM partner. The two product lines have an aggregate engineering head count of about 125 FTE, spread over 10 Scrum teams and some support functions. Development is mostly based on C++ and JAVA/Python combined with commercial software like Oracle MySQL Cluster (DB), UNICOM/IBM SolidDB (DB), Splunk (Analytics/reporting), … and misc. open source solutions like Cassandra DB, Ceph Scale-out Object Storage, … Instrumental in making Alcatel-Lucent network PVR market leader (>80% market share)

Principal Solution Architect/Product Line Manager (PLM) for global cable solutions. Defined Alcatel-Lucent’s cable MSO strategy and was the prime engagement leader (Biz dev) for the Cable MSO segment world-wide in the area of access and video. Drove strategic partnership for the Cable MSO segment (CMTS resell). Proposed pragmatic company-wide strategy led to Alcatel-Lucent becoming a recognized vendor to the Cable MSO segment.
