As the CTO at Cozy, I worked on a variety of projects and tackled numerous technical, human, and organizational challenges. Development: - Primarily focused on front-end development with React / React Native, with some experience in Angular, Objective-C, and Java, and extensive client-side data manipulation (created a React Query-like tool for the Cozy stack). - Back-end development with NodeJS, along with contributions in Go and Python. - Primarily used CouchDB for databases. - Promoted best practices: testing (unit, functional, end-to-end), "boy scout rule", code reviews, and performance optimization. Management: - Recruitment and onboarding of developers. - Developing action plans to enhance the skills of individuals and teams. - Coaching and mentoring team members. - Creating a calm work environment that encourages initiative and experimentation. Product: - Brainstorming sessions with PO / PM to identify functional solutions to their needs. - Challenging UX / UI to optimize user experience. Strategy: - Participated in defining the company's strategy (resource management, salary grids, client acquisition, etc.).
