The TR-369 USP standard is a management protocol published in 2018 by Broadband Forum to manage connected objects and gateways through a controller which could be a management server or mobile/PC applications. The project consists of development of TR-369 controller on PC for both operating System Windows and Linux with appropriate Graphical User Interface. • Understand the USP protocol: USP protocol documentation. • STOMP client’s C++ open-source compilation. • Execution of the STOMP client and, analysis of traffic between this client and a STOMP server. • STOMP client’s open source: Reverse Engineering. • STOMP client’s open source enhancement. • “USP Records” layer development. • “USP Messages” layer development. • Protocol part testing: call a method (GET,SET,ADD....), see the traffic between this part and a STOMP server. • Obuspa installation. • Obuspa integration: Make the communication between obuspa and the STOMP server then between obuspa and our USP controller. • Development of a basic web skeleton. • Addition of the web interface which is responsible for USP methods calling and integration with the protocol part. • Development of the web interface which is responsible for connected agents listing. • Addition of an interface for agent’s auto-configuration scripts execution. • Addition of a “settings” interface for controller configuration. • Implement Java Native Interface (JNI) to link the protocol part and the web part.
