Sector : inertial navigation systems for commercial and defense platforms (aerospace, land defense and naval). - Participated in the client’s R&D activities of new strategic products development: created an environment dedicated to the validation of a calibration software that will be used during the next decade in the production process of inertial measurement units for Ariane 6. - Performed tests in laboratories on inertial measurement units in a deadline-driven environment. Produced clear and concise reports for the client. - Supported the systems engineers in the assessment of inertial measurement units’ performance (BlueNaute®) by implementing a Monte-Carlo simulation environment. - Updated a data processing software for a new generation of airborne inertial navigation systems (APIRS).

Area : statistical signal processing. Subject : Study of the measurement noise of electrostatic accelerometers (processing of 3.5 years of real satellite data). The Gravity Field and Steady-State Ocean Circulation Explorer (GOCE) was the first of ESA's Living Planet Programme satellites and was intended to map with unprecedented precision the Earth's gravity field. The spacecraft's primary instrumentation was a highly sensitive gravity gradiometer containing three pairs of accelerometers. (source : http://www.esa.int/Our_Activities/Observing_the_Earth/GOCE) The accelerometers were designed and assembled by the French Aerospace Lab (ONERA) and my PhD consisted in analyzing their data in order to verify their in-flight performance. Skills needed : - statistical signal processing, spectral analysis (MATLAB, Python) - knowledge in electronics and feedback control (SIMULINK) - knowledge in orbital mechanics and space environment.
