-Business Objects XI3.1: WebIntelligence and Universe Designer -ODI 10g -Oracle Within the Allianz group, the role of the BI team is to provide the necessary KPI to analyze the activity of assistance and quality of provided service... • Analysis of user and business needs • Design Development of data flows (ODI) • Evolution and creation of reports and universes (Business Objects) • Communicate with end users • Propose solutions for optimizing reporting • Managing the scheduling of reports • Assist in the user recipe phase.

Mettre en place et maintenir la solution BI 'Human Resource Intelligence' de ADP, afin d’aider les clients à prendre des décisions futures: -ETL: Sunopsis V3 (Oracle Data Integrator) -Business Objects XI3.1 and BI 4.2 -Oracle. • Construction d'un entrepôt de données (Data Warehouse) afin d'accueillir toutes les données provenant de systèmes de paie et de ressources humaines. • Extraction, Transformation et Chargement (ETL). Conception des scénarii d'ETL pour alimenter l'entrepôt de données. Cela comprend le nettoyage des données, effectuer toute modification en cas de besoin (transcodage, intégration des données provenant de différentes sources ...). • Usage de la plate-forme SAP Business Objects, création des univers basés sur le schéma d'entrepôt de données et améliorer l'apprentissage et la découverte d'informations en concevant des tableaux de bord et des rapports (Web Intelligence et Desktop Intelligence) pour une utilisation pendant la prise de décisions: • Bilan Social : Réalisation du bilan social de l’entreprise en se basant sur les spécifications fonctionnelles détaillées fournies par le client. Il s’agit de créer les états de control ainsi que les calculs des indicateurs (classés par chapitre) à mettre dans le rapport final à fournir pour l’Etat. • Rédaction d’une documentation détaillée pour les rapports et les univers créés

During this experience I was a member of SAP technical support team that provides support services for Business Objects customers. My mission is to help customers find solutions to a various number and kind of incidents: Administration (CMC, CCM), Security, Managing users and accounts, connection to system and reports databases issues (on Windows and Linux environments), all kind of Deployment and installation problems (on both Windows and Linux environments), creating universes (Designer and IDT) and reports (Web and Desktop Intelligence using Infoview, Webi Rich Client and Desktop Intelligence): Business Objects: XIR2, XI3.1 and BI 4.0 -Set up and tune customers’ platforms (BO servers, web servers...) in order to improve performance. -Deploy and install Business Objects environments on virtualized test servers (VMWare Lab Manager) -Administer and manage Business Objects security: Mastering administration tasks; creating Business Objects enterprise accounts, managing users and groups, rights, publications, maintain servers, management of security and access levels to the various entities (reports, folders, applications…) -Design of Web intelligence and Desktop intelligence reports. Scheduling reports and resolving connectivity problems: the reports to design are for internal use. -Design universes with ‘Business objects Designer’. For internal use or when assisting the customer to do some tasks or resolve issues. -Migration process to BO XI and BI 4.0 versions: When BI 4.0 was released, one of the most important tasks I did is to help customers using BO XI3.1 and XI R2 to migrate to BI 4.0. So I have a good idea about the migration process to this new version. Also I have a good knowledge about migration from BO 5/6 to BO XI versions. -Concepts of Data warehousing (Star model, OLAP cubes…)
