I worked here as a Design Engineer in Engineering Research and Design Development Department for the project of Jaguar Land Rover and Mclaren vehicles in power train department. My role was to design, develop and optimise all the designs of powertrain components in all phases of project life cycle as per requirements and vehicle package. I worked in a team where and all decisions were made by active discussions and involvement of stakeholders and suppliers.Got well versed in quality management, budget estimation, material requirements, team collaboration. •Responsible to design and modify all auto parts, maintaining BOM, storing/sharing on Teamcenter and releasing final designs in SAP. •Research and develop designs by using DFMEA, FMEA concepts. •Responsible to track design plans, track schedule and update project status. •Effectively communicated with all project stakeholders in all departments of business, operations, design engineers, sponsors, production team and contractors to keep their interest high. •Responsible for Quality checks and product design development activities using Kanban board with standard checklist.
