I worked on the Cyber Security Program as the Firewall Subject Matter Expert (SME) across the client’s (Maersk shipping) security platforms. I was involved several in high impact projects as a technical lead; designing and implementing traffic segmentation, implementing market leading NGFW devices across greenfield and brownfield sites, designing secure edge connectivity, upgrading / migrating / replacing legacy security devices and managed a team remediating the global firewall estate. All of this was done with the end goal of improving security posture, performance, and simplifying configuration whilst lowering risk. I introduced new processes and procedures that reduced time and chance for error while increasing operational effectiveness across multiple teams. I also provided consultant engineering services across a wide range of routing, switching and security projects.

I provided lead network implementation and support capabilities onsite across several sites for ITV. I worked closely with the broadcast and corporate network teams to ensure the broadcast and supporting office networks were delivered on time and on budget. I have also worked on commissioning and decommissioning of new and old buildings. The broadcast move had a fixed ‘go live’ date as ITV's flagship morning shows (Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning, and Loose Women) were set to broadcast from the new studios in mid April. The project was very demanding and could at times be overly complex but the teams and I delivered and the project was a huge success.
