Leading the technical vision and hands-on development of Vox Wallet, a personal finance management application that simplifies budgeting through a voice-first, AI-driven interface. Responsible for the entire technology stack, from backend architecture and AI integration to cross-platform frontend development. Full-Stack Architecture & Development: Architected and built the entire backend using Python and FastAPI, creating a scalable REST API to handle user data, transactions, and AI processing. Developed the complete frontend application for iOS, Android, and Web from a single codebase using Flutter and Dart, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience. Designed the SQLite database schema and implemented data models using SQLAlchemy ORM to manage user accounts, unified transactions, budgets, goals, and encrypted user credentials. AI & Machine Learning Integration: Integrated OpenAI's Whisper model to provide high-accuracy, real-time transcription of user voice commands for expense and income logging. Engineered the natural language understanding pipeline using a Microsoft Phi-3-mini-4k-instruct LLM to parse transcribed text, extract structured data (item, amount, category), and generate AI-driven financial insights. Core Feature Implementation: Built a robust and secure authentication system from scratch, featuring JWT-based session management, password hashing with bcrypt, Google Sign-In, and full 2FA/TOTP capabilities. Implemented the complete monetization infrastructure by integrating the Stripe API for handling monthly and yearly subscriptions, including web-based checkout sessions and mobile payment sheets. Developed a system for automated, scheduled tasks using APScheduler, including a service that generates and sends personalized weekly financial reports to users via email.
