After several years leading operations and organizational transformations in consulting, I dedicated a year to managing a personal renovation project — designed as a practical way to apply sustainability principles and long-term project execution skills. Key highlights: -Led the full renovation of an old carpentry shop, from planning to delivery, with a focus on sustainable materials, low carbon impact and energy efficiency. -Managed end-to-end project planning, budgeting, suppliers, and hands-on execution. -Applied circular economy principles: reuse, local sourcing, minimal waste, low carbon footprint materials -Reinforced key leadership values — ownership, problem-solving, and perseverance. This project deepened my conviction that sustainability has a long way to go in construction, and also that real solutions are already here.
