Summary: I am an Infrastructure Governance Security Engineer with more than 30 years of IT experience, who began working in 1992 as a Clipper programming assistant. Over the years, I built a deep infrastructure, systems, networking, and cybersecurity background, where I spent time in global environments and complex enterprise ecosystems. The past 10+ years of my experience have been in the field of cybersecurity, where I've been in charge of security governance, architecture design, vulnerability management, and implementing Zero Trust strategy execution. I have practical experience on a diverse array of cybersecurity tools such as Nessus, Qualys, Fortinet, Palo Alto, CheckPoint, CyberArk, and many more. I've been implementing multiple cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP, and have executed DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and Terraform. I'm familiar with several scripting and automation languages like Python, Bash, and PowerShell, and often use them to automate security tasks, automate infrastructure, and enable DevSecOps practices. I'm passionate about security, dedicated to ongoing learning, and excel in settings that challenge me to resolve complexities and safeguard critical systems and information. Areas of Expertise: My core areas of expertise include cybersecurity architecture, governance, and vulnerability management, with over a decade of hands-on experience in implementing Zero Trust frameworks and standards compliance such as ISO 27001, NIST, and OWASP. He has vast experience in network and infrastructure security, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, DLP, and endpoint protection.
