I participated in the creation of an online sales e-commerce platform based on a monthly subscription model. This role includes overseeing all operations and business activities, ensuring they produce the desired results consistent with strategy. Highlights from my role include: * Researching, designing and delivering front-end and back-end features, improvements and services - using customer, industry and competitor analysis to design and prioritise front-end website improvements for an e-commerce platform delivering 20,000+ monthly sales - managing and prioritising a backlog of tasks to deliver improved functionality and increased conversion to the front-end platform - using customer analysis, insight and testing to validate existing platform and design and test improvements - using user testing and feedback to understand and improve the user experience - designing and delivering a roadmap for reducing technical debt and improving website stability, reliability and flexibility - Manage relationships with suppliers to buy beauty products, covering 20,000 different units across 750 brands * Leading and overseeing a team of ten developers in a SCRUM environment - engaging and leading a development team to maximise value-add to the organisation - using SCRUM techniques to implement continuous improvement to business processes - leading daily team meetings to communicate progress, hold team accountable and - leading bi-weekly team review meetings to evaluate progress, understand successes & failings and develop team buy-in for new 'trys' to improve team performance - validating team output and leading quality assurance * A/B testing and optimising e-commerce platform - numerous successful tests delivering verified conversion improvements - using customer research, analysis and industry best-practice to design tests
