This work which includes computer vision techniques and sensors fusion methods aims to localize an android device and track its position in the indoor 3D space gradually. First and foremost, to get the depth on any android device supporting the USB Host mode we enabled the communication between the Kinect sensor for Xbox 360 and android for the first time. Then, we made an RGB-Depth features based SLAM methodology on this mobile platform. In fact, we track our position with assistance of inertial sensors such as accelerometer and gyroscope ,and we reconstruct full 3D pointcloud of a scene on android and on real time. This is my graduation project, and my first step towards mobile 3D Computer Vision.
