As part of the modernization and technical upgrade of the loyalty system’s infrastructure, I led a strategic project aimed at enhancing system stability and performance. The main objective was to secure scalability during major commercial operations and end-of-year peak activities by upgrading the technical platform to handle the increasing load of large-scale marketing campaigns. Key achievements: • Gathered and analyzed business requirements, defined project scope, and established the functional and technical framework. • Developed project planning and coordinated cross-functional technical and business teams. • Drafted the technical architecture documentation and functional specifications. • Supervised development with the software vendor and prepared qualification and production environments. • Conducted application testing, performance benchmarking, and validation of data flows. • Redesigned the production infrastructure to a service-oriented architecture (SOA) model prior to deployment. • Oversaw production rollouts with system administrators, prepared migration plans, and led go/no-go decision processes. • Authored operational procedures and exploitation documentation. • Managed production deployment, monitored components, and implemented supervision probes and recovery systems. • Secured data flows through HTTPS and SFTP and integrated a load balancer to ensure high availability. This project successfully reinforced the reliability of the loyalty program’s infrastructure, improved system resilience, and supported the group’s long-term growth and digital transformation objectives.

As part of my Computer Science and Management studies at Polytech Montpellier, I completed my fourth-year internship at Banque Populaire for a duration of two months. I was assigned to the Human Resources department and integrated into the IT division to evaluate supply flow operations and develop a web-based solution aimed at restructuring the company’s business processes. My first mission involved analyzing and identifying recurring issues within the Economat and Logistics departments of various responsibility centers, which led to the creation of a detailed project requirements document. Following this initial study, my second mission consisted of designing and developing a custom web solution connecting all stakeholders involved in the procurement process, enabling them to securely share and manage operational procedures. This internship allowed me to apply every stage of the software development lifecycle — from information gathering to system design and implementation. “Greenfield” projects are rarely entrusted to interns, yet after an in-depth interview with my recruiter, the Head of IT at Banque Populaire Fès-Taza, I was given full responsibility for this project, which perfectly aligned with my professional goals and provided me with valuable hands-on experience in intranet development.

This was a major and highly engaging project in which we were tasked with designing a collaborative Master Data Management (MDM) tool. The project was carried out in two phases. During the first phase, I acted as project manager, leading a team of four people in the modeling and design of the tool’s core functionality. In the second phase — the development stage — I served as assistant project manager within a larger team of seven, while continuing to oversee my original team. Our group was responsible for designing the user interfaces and integrating the code. This project provided a truly valuable experience, as it was based on a real business need and required full coordination among multiple teams. Working as a class-wide initiative, it taught me to manage inter-team communication and track overall project progress effectively. The main challenge was managing internal conflicts and keeping the team motivated, especially as members were overworked, handling up to ten projects simultaneously. My role was to maintain structure, encourage collaboration, and sustain team productivity. In the end, the mission was a success: our team delivered the expected results. I had to take decisive action regarding one disengaged teammate, offering two options — re-engage with the project or escalate the issue to our supervisor. Ultimately, I chose to work alongside him in a paired setup to help him regain motivation, which proved effective and allowed us to complete the project successfully.

As part of my Computer Science and Management studies, I completed a three-month internship at TEMASA, a company with over 40 years of experience specializing in the production and export of KUNERT brand socks and hosiery. The internship consisted of two main missions. The first involved conducting a full inventory of the company’s electronic and IT equipment to better understand the production environment and the layout of the facilities. The second mission was to design and develop a beta version of a corporate website to present the company’s activities. I began by gathering input from the project stakeholders to define the site’s architecture and functional expectations. Brainstorming sessions and several meetings with the IT manager helped clarify the website’s requirements. I then moved on to the design and development phase while simultaneously training on web programming languages. This internship was an extremely valuable experience, as it allowed me to explore a new area of computer science that I had not previously practiced. The most challenging aspect was filtering and identifying relevant information from the large amount of data provided by the TEMASA staff. I also greatly appreciated the autonomy and trust granted to me throughout the internship, which allowed me to take initiatives and organize my work independently.
