I led the implementation of a brand-new cloud-based data platform between 2016 and 2021. The initiative involved designing and deploying the full data infrastructure on AWS, leveraging key components such as RDS Oracle, S3, EC2, VPC, subnets, and IAM. As the central project lead, I coordinated a multidisciplinary team of AWS cloud architects, Oracle database experts, Python and PL/SQL developers, and Power BI specialists. I facilitated and animated the full project lifecycle: from architecture and solution design workshops, business requirements gathering, workload estimation, planning, and team staffing, to development and deployment. This initial phase spanned approximately nine months. Following the platform launch, I continued to build and optimize end-to-end data pipelines – from extraction and ingestion to modeling – enabling effective data visualization and insights delivery through Power BI dashboards, with seamless integration between Microsoft’s Power BI Service and the AWS data backend.
