Following IS transformations brings gains for AXA-IM demonstrating how heavy, legacy .Net Quantitative libraries could be leveraged on the Azure Cloud and build new markets, opened opportunities for their customers. Cloud Transformation 1: Leveraged Apollo (AXA Quantitative Library) On Azure by Lift-And-Shift’ing’ • Made a POC to adapt the AXA-IM In-house Quantitative Library on Azure Service Fabric, resulted in performance gain of 32%. Cloud Transformation 2: Built a Team to leverage Apollo on the Cloud using Microsoft Azure by Repurchasing/Refactoring using Montecarlo, Simulation Paths. • My company in collaboration with AXA-IM was committed to build an “Urbanization Team” dedicated to leverage Apollo (Strategic Quantitative Library) on the Cloud, namely AOTC. • Conducted this transformation in four phases: a) Urbanization Plan using Hexagonal Architecture Approach & Model Driven architecture: this to expose the financial staff how we planned to transform and the gain with technological capabilities, b) Developed the core foundations of AOTC to transform highly added value Apollo Quantitative Library Primitives to highly scalable, elastic Micro Services using a wide panel of Azure Technologies, c) Demonstrated that the simulation could be run in 3 minutes (Azure Cloud) instead of 3,5 Hours (Axa-IM DC) using Cloud Technologies. Assessed technologies were : Azure Functions (Rebuilt in 64 Bits), Azure Batch, Service Fabric, AKS and Kubernetes, Containerization, Azure HPC and hybrid…, d) Built a team composed of highly skilled people, Azure Infrastructure Architect, Azure Dev Ops, .Net and Core Experts, to develop and address new customers’ demands. e) Secured all layers working with specialized security companies and In-house Security teams.

Phase 3 : Technical Demonstration • Coded a full applicative in MicroService Architecture, to demonstrate the technology and the required qualities. This demonstrates how MicroServices architecture style can transcend SOA for this kind of IS transformation. • (CA) Continuous Availability demonstration : Proved a full resilient mechanism by using Clustered Nodes and Decoupled System to prevent the production of terminals from instable conditions (poor bandwith, poor DB Service and complete lack of QOS) • Smooth Migration : Demonstrated, via the designed solution, how a smooth (No-BigBang) migration could be roadmaped to change big legacy system without compromising technical opportunities and go on preserving production. • Intelligent Data Transfert (Intelligent Data Pump) : Demonstrated how the created added-value data could come from local Workstation (production machine) to Manufacturer Local DB until the Cloud Services. Objective : to serve all the needs of the other IS Subsystems and show a complete integration with existing systems (such as existing SAP and other reporting systems)

Phase 2 : Technical Feasibilty Study • Led a technical workshops with pure players including : IBM, Amazon, Microsoft and Google • Established a complete quality and assessment system to objectively compare all the competitors between each others. (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment/Continuous Availability and 40 other criterias…) • Provided a full declination and opportunities, offered by traditional well known SOA against MicroServices and/Or Container Architecture styles. • Proposed an advanced MicroService collaboration named choregraphy as opposed to the regular orchestration programming style. • Provided comparative solution and opportunities proposed by LightWeigth, or Cloud Only User Interfaces (Angular, Node.JS, Bootstrap and so on…) • Conducted a deep technical transposition to seek the best possible implementation using Java, .Net targeting the Full Cloud, Hybrid-Cloud and Private Cloud architectures. • Conducted deep studies on Kubernetes/Docker, ServiceFabric/MicroServices and AWS/NetFlix OSS stacks with leading actors. All of these, brought to well framed Proof Of Concepts for each editor

Phase 1 : Architecture Study and First Actions • Re-architectured the full SCM chain with the ‘state of the art’ IS Urbanisation, for the Worldwide Production of Payments Terminals • Full audit of actors, from users to manufacturers • Used an IS Maturity Model to present all the architecture styles and help CTO to position their choice according to the Ingenico Strategies (going from Rigid Solution to the best of breed of Agile (Cloud Virtualized System)) • Inventoried, classified ans adressed IS Dolors, by structured proposals on the target architecture, through a methodological approach and detailed schema diagrams • More than a proposition, the ‘architecture vision’ of the Ingenico supply chain’s future was built as big lego game, (by making each participant become an actor of ‘the future of the terminals production’) • Involvement of lead actors and CTO along the whole design phase to assure and reach the best strategic alignment, to raise innovative business opportunities, and generate new income • Proposed a complete Agility system, due to the worldwide nature of Ingenico Terminal Production. Objective : Adapt and compose each element of the supply chain according to exogeneous constraints such as Political, Economical, Social, Technological, Educational, Legal, Technological and Demographic ones • From now, the supply chain can be composed and re-composed as needed, to get the manufacturer setup extremely flexible.

TravelStore Web Site: Complete re-design of a third of the site for the entire hotel’s subsystem (see www.travelstore.com/hotels), including full development cycle. I designed the architecture from the beginning using the latest techniques such as persistence management, load balancing, and states objects management. My work was deployed on the client’s live site very recently. Thousands of users browse the site and book their hotels. I worked closely with travel experts to make the necessary business objects. I adapted all my objects to be stateless, MTS compliant and MSMQ compatible. I specifically paid attention to the stability and robustness of my components, since this set of components was designed to work without any maintenance and this, twenty-four hours a day. In order to make this project a success, I leaded and trained other web developers to use this engine and maintain the different Web pages to constantly offer new functionalities throughout the site.
