Intro

With a diverse range of roles and extensive experience spanning several decades, here's a brief overview of my professional background: I started my career as a University Professor, teaching and imparting knowledge in my field of expertise from 1991 to 1998. In 1996, I accumulate the role of IT Director and Co-Owner, where I managed and directed an IT department of an organization, overseeing its overall operations and software development. From 1998 to 2000, I served as a Project Coordinator, responsible for organizing and overseeing various projects. Building on this experience, I took on the role of a Project and Program Manager from 2000 to 2006, leading and managing projects and programs throughout their lifecycle. As a Senior Consultant specializing in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) from 2006 to 2016, I provided expert guidance and consultation to clients, helping them optimize their IT service management processes. In 2016, I became the Head of the IT Compliance Department, where I played a vital role in ensuring IT support good practices within the organization, implementing compliance programs, and conducting audits. Since 2018 that I have been serving as an IT Manager, responsible for overseeing IT operations, managing teams, ensuring the smooth functioning of technology infrastructures and supporting / advising IT governance and service improvment. From 2020 to 2023, I held the position of Senior Compliance Officer where I focused on regulatory compliance, developing strategies, and implementing compliance initiatives and projects. My extensive experience showcases my ability to blend technical expertise with leadership and compliance skills, making me a valuable asset in the areas of IT management, IT governance and regulatory compliance.
