As a Recruitment and Data Fellow at ALX, I support data-driven decision-making and strategic outreach to increase program enrollment and improve learner experiences across South Africa. My role sits at the intersection of data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and student recruitment, with a strong focus on using insights to drive meaningful impact. Key Responsibilities: Conversion Tracking & Analytics: Monitor and evaluate conversion rates across various recruitment campaigns, events, and stakeholder activations. Leverage tools like Excel and QuickSight to visualise performance and identify trends. Data Management & Reporting: Extract, clean, and structure large datasets related to student applications, program progress, and enrollment. Support internal reporting and strategic reviews with clear and accurate data outputs. Data Visualisation & Dashboards: Build intuitive dashboards and visual reports to communicate performance metrics and engagement outcomes to internal and external stakeholders. Student Onboarding & Engagement: Deliver informative presentations, webinars, and info sessions to guide potential learners through the application process and highlight the benefits of ALX’s programs. Stakeholder Engagement: Support partnership development by preparing insights, impact summaries, and proposals for external organisations, educational institutions, and government partners. Major Projects: Led post-activation data analysis for application clinics and expos across TUT campuses, tracking attendance vs. enrollment conversion and generating insights to optimize future outreach. Designed visual reports comparing started applications to final enrollments across programs like AI Career Essentials Cohort 7 and Virtual Assistant Cohort 6, driving improvements in re-marketing strategies. Created dashboards to monitor re-engagement effectiveness of inactive applicants and support targeted interventions.
