About me
Intro
I'm a backend engineer with 5+ years of experience building systems that scale. Most of my work has been with Go, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Microservices. Most recently I led development of an AI image generation service where I built the full pipeline including async job processing with BullMQ, real-time progress streaming, and an AI layer with structured prompting and auto-retry to ensure quality at the user level. At Avito.ma, I built the login system (WhatsApp + phone auth) that over a million users rely on. I also rebuilt one of our data pipelines using KSQL to replace legacy Java code, and worked on search improvements that helped with typos and fuzzy matching. Before that, I did freelance work deploying applications with Docker, built APIs for clients in different industries, and worked on a white-label food delivery platform where I dealt with everything from the React Native app to the Express backend. I like working on problems where the main challenge is keeping things maintainable as they grow.
