Introduction
Head of Software Development
Grapho-Lock - Occam Conseil
Sylvain Bruyere joined the Grapho-Lock project in late 2006 as the Chief Solution Architect, taking the reins of research and software development. He is the architect behind the signature recognition algorithm that serves as the cornerstone of the platform. Sylvain's focused research and development efforts have been instrumental in enhancing the reliability and performance of Grapho-Lock's biometric signature recognition solution, which was initially prototyped by Hervé Cadieu. Grapho-Lock was founded by Hervé Cadieu in 1998 with the objective of creating a dynamic signature verification algorithm. Under Sylvain's leadership, the project has evolved to seamlessly integrate traditional handwritten signatures with digital PKI X509 signatures, clarifying the authentication process for dematerialized documents. The system securely identifies users through fingerprints, dynamic signature authentication, or passwords. Once authenticated, users can sign Microsoft® Office documents with their graphical handwritten signature, automatically sealed with a digital signature and time-stamped by the Grapho-Lock web service. The Team: Hervé Cadieu, the Founding Partner, initially prototyped the biometric signature recognition solution and has been a finalist in the European Information Security Awards for excellence in R&D. Laurent Cadieu joined in 2006 as an early investor and manager, bringing over 17 years of experience in banking and transaction. He contributes a strong equity and valuation culture to Grapho-Lock. Laurent is a former CEO of equities at BNP Paribas and a graduate of Polytechnique and the ENST.

Qiil.io is a research project focused and highly specialized on software reverse-engineering fields. Born from an initiative of S. Bruyere, software architect and security researcher, best known for his work in the Visual Basic-x86 reverse-engineering fields. VBReFormer is a powerful and essential recovery tool for Visual Basic 5 & 6 application. Decompiler, disassembler and design editor at the same time, VBReFormer is an essential tool for professionals and companies who work with older versions of their Visual Basic 5/6 applications. VBReFormer will help you to rewrite your application by recovering all necessary information, design code and partial native Visual Basic code of your application. VBReFormer disassemble all functions and methods in forms, controls, classes, and modules of Visual Basic application and try to recover the most complete Visual Basic source code than possible (if compiled with the native code option). Furthermore, thanks to its integrated decompilation engine, VBReFormer perfoms a native decompilation from Native code to Visual Basic code, in the fullest extent possible. VBReFormer recovers UI meta information and resources of Visual Basic 5 & 6 application (forms, usercontrols, designers, pictures, etc.) and extracts these information into a Visual Basic project. Even better, the integrated design editor of VBReFormer succeeds where others resources editors fail with Visual Basic applications with its ability to edit UI design of Visual Basic applications in a simple and easy way with no limitation of size, and with no need to recompile the application, working directly on its binary.

As Principal Malware Analyst @ Airbus CERT, I was the go-to expert for malware analysis and reporting within the team. Alongside my colleagues, I was responsible for analyzing and reporting malware attacks, as well as providing advice and support to the wider team on how best to respond to these incidents. As the main contact for malware-related matters, I collaborated closely with the team to ensure optimal response to such incidents. In addition, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of subject including incident response, threat intelligence, threat hunting, and advanced persistent threats (APT). These subjects allowed me to develop my skills in various areas related to cybersecurity and to better understand the ever-changing threat landscape. I have worked closely with my colleagues to share & complete my knowledge and expertise, and to ensure that we work effectively and efficiently to protect the Airbus Group from cybersecurity threats. Moreover, I automated malware analysis and developed tools to support the effort, including dnYara, a .Net wrapper for Yara to easily integrate Yara rules within .Net solutions, dnMisp, a .Net client API for Misp to efficiently share threat intelligence data and collaborate with other teams, and vbSparkle, a VBScript de-obfuscator to quickly and accurately analyze malicious VBScript code. Through these projects, I was able to contribute to the development of new tools and techniques to analyze and respond to malware threats. This work has allowed us to more effectively identify and respond to threats, and better protect the Airbus Group from cybersecurity incidents. Overall, my experience on the Airbus CERT team has been incredibly valuable and rewarding, and I'm proud of the contributions I've been able to make to the team and the broader cybersecurity field.
