The program was implemented by the department of Social Welfare Hwedza. Food Deficit Mitigation Strategy implementation was carried out in areas that had been affected by the drought in 2020 and COVID. Roles • Data collection in the surveys of the villages which were affected the most. • Community mobilization for beneficiary selection and registration for hunger relief assistance. • Data Capturing and Data Analysis on the assigned 50 families of registered beneficiaries. • Food distribution to beneficiaries in the district. • End of project evaluation and reporting at district level.

YADTis a non-profit organization that helps communities with their healthcare needs focusing on HIV and AIDS as well as the promotion entrepreneurship and sustainable development among youths. Roles involved: • Designed, implemented, and evaluated youth entrepreneurship programs, connecting young entrepreneurs with banks providing financial literacy education services and youth loans • Facilitated engaging dialogues with youth in the surrounding 5 schools and churches, educating them on HIV/AIDS and Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights, while also incorporating entrepreneurship education. • Planned and developed data collection tools for researching new programs and services • Monitored and evaluated youth projects and programs

Braeside social home is an institution under the Salvation Army that provides affordable accommodation and general care for the elderly people in Harare. Roles: • Case management for all 50 residents, including updating health files and background information, conducting assessments, and facilitating registration for new residents. • Oversaw general administration tasks, such as creating weekly budgets and reports. • Assisted elderly residents with medical appointments and administered daily medications. • Reported cases of abuse to administration for appropriate action • Conducted assessments and selected deserving candidates for accommodation.

The Department of Social Welfare Chitungwiza District Office under the Ministry of Public service, Labour and Social Welfare focused on child protection services, public assistance and community welfare. Roles: • Managed 5-6 cases per week involving child abuse, child marriages, institutional placements and child offenders. • Prepared comprehensive social workers' reports for all cases • Provided public assistance to elderly community members through food distribution programs and medical treatment support • Facilitated safe placement of children in institutions and foster homes • Conducted home assessments, followed up on cases, and maintained up-to-date case files • Advocated for appropriate punishments for child offenders and provided counseling to children in need of counseling services
