Needs : - The application, a fork of demarches-simplifiees.fr, hadn’t been updated in over a year. - New features needed to be developed. What I brought to the project: - As the sole developer on the team, I took full ownership of the app and revitalized the project. - Carefully (and tirelessly!) managed the merging of updates between the two applications. - Implemented brand-new development, deployment, documentation, and user communication processes. - Significantly improved the Developer Experience (DX), Continuous Integration (CI), and Ops, especially around Docker (deployment time reduced from 5 minutes to 20 seconds). - Profiled test performance to identify and isolate a memory leak. - Set up new servers and containers in the infrastructure.

Team for the Planet is an organization focused on combating climate change. It operates as a non-profit commercial entity, allowing anyone to become a shareholder from just one euro, investing in carbon impact projects. The company was preparing a major initiative aimed at rallying businesses around a fundraising effort. For this purpose, new features were developed, along with enhancements in the security and performance of their application. My involvement included: - Enhancing performance through caching, query, and code refactoring. - Monitoring a bug bounty program organized by a partner. - Implementing new features and business process enhancements. - Developing a new API with GrapeAPI. - Creating an image resizing service based on compression technology. - Establishing a new design system based on Atomic Design principles to initiate a complete migration of the current frontend to a component-oriented stack.

Regate develops a Finance Automation SaaS software that allows SMEs to automate their financial and accounting management, and to manage their activity from a single platform. It aims to streamline collaboration. Initially a member of a backend squad specialized in reporting and automation, I created new features related to the automation of business processes. I also maintained the application and completed several refactoring projects of existing features. Later, I was given the opportunity to take on the role of lead backend developer for the creation of a new application on the new law on electronic invoicing that will come into force in 2024. I thus participated in the development of an architecture from scratch in DDD, a code standard, and a development process followed by the technical and product teams. **New features and maintenance:** - Creation of new business features in RestFull API in DDD architecture. - Refactoring projects of legacy code to DDD architecture - Bug hunting projects lasting several weeks **New application from scratch:** - Creation of the Rails API with Devise + JWT authentication - Implementation of a standard error system, a DDD architecture to maintain the MVC in its most essential role - Implementation of a code standard, technical and product documentation integrated with PRs to maintain code in parallel with documentation

The Lefebvre Dalloz group is a legal training company. Following the acquisition of Barchën, the group recovered the two Rails applications from the startup and integrated them into its environment. Being the only Ruby developer on the team, my responsibility was to fully support the 2 Rails applications, in a predominantly Java application environment. The business domain of these two applications concerned the monitoring of online training, passing exams and obtaining certifications for learners. And the need was for the maintenance and evolution of the two applications. **Maintenance and refactoring:** - Major legacy code refactoring projects - Bug roadmap elimination - Workshops to challenge existing functionalities for their refactoring - Implementation of an application monitoring - Deep reconfiguration of pipeline assets **Changes and new features:** - Realization of an API to interact with other applications of the group - Realization of an API to retrieve exam results on external platforms - Realization of reporting in the form of Excel generation - Creation of new front interfaces for new functionalities

UNAC is one of the main cabin crew unions at Air France and other airlines. UNAC expressed the wish for a new image on the web, through the redesign of their graphic charter, their website, as well as the development of a mobile application. Agilab is an electricity and gas offer proposed by Engie. Initially RGPD oriented, the mission quickly expanded to functional and architectural parts of the application. New functionalities and Maintenance in Operational Conditions - Maintenance of the codebase in production and refactoring of legacy code - Creation of new API endpoints and integration of external services - Implementation of a new sponsorship system - As part of the realization of the work related to the RGPD, part of my mission was to purge the database according to precise business rules. An audit of the CNIL was carried out shortly afterwards. DevOps - Participation in the establishment of a Gitlab CI/CD - Dockerization of the application. The challenge was the support of legacy versions of the libraries and the language, which required the creation of a Docker Ruby from scratch image.

Creating an open source shell project: Dotty The project is a shell framework, allowing to easily create workflows for setting up development environments on Mac and Linux. Contrary to usual personal scripts, Dotty offers an architecture that allows a more industrialized customization, maintainability and scalability. A shell script to create a Mac VM on virtualbox is provided so the workflows can be tested before being applied on a machine. Creation of a community application The objective of this project is twofold: to build up skills on ReactJS, Packer, Ansible and GitlabCI. But also to meet the needs of an urban exploration community: events, exchanges, challenges... The infrastructure uses Packer and Ansible with Alpine Linux, the backend is in Rails and the frontend in React JS. Action Cable is used for the chat websockets and I use a QRcode library to anonymize the authentication.

Capsens is a web agency specialized in crowdfunding applications. My first responsibility is to develop existing crowdfunding platforms. Especially the creation of payment processes, the management of financial transactions, the integration of digital signatures with Universign, and the creation of dynamic subscription paths for users. I was then entrusted with the creation of a new crowdfunding application for a European participatory investment fund. Additional functionalities / Refactoring of existing applications: - Management of Mangopay Wallets and creation of asynchronous financial flows between project owners and subscribers during the subscription/implementation of a project. - Use of the dry-transaction library and Sidekiq for the transaction management of financial flows. - Implementation of digital signatures of legal documents with Universign, generation of PDF documents - Creation of Rspec tests of financial transactions in the backend. Mocking of external services - Creation of new functionalities: subscription, presentation pages for crowdfunding projects, dynamic forms... - Optimization of database queries: elimination of N+1 and rewriting of the slowest queries. - Application of good practices to the legacy code, restructuring of the code, application of SOLID principles Development of a new crowdfunding application: - Readjustment and precision of the initial needs with the customer, to be as close as possible to the real needs. - Project management in Agile method with the Scrum framework (Pocker planning with the customer, Scrum mastering, daily standup...) - Development of a back-office with Active Admin, in order to offer control to the customer on the follow-up and edition of subscriptions. - Creation of a CI/CD with Gitlab, tests with Rspec, implementation of an application monitoring with an internal tool at Capsens. - Web integration and creation of the UX and UI of the subscriptions from the provided designs and Bootstrap

Next W is a company marketing a community communication tool for businesses, like Slack. The company needed to improve and evolve the Swarm architecture of its application and set up an application and system monitoring.
