During my internship at CERIST (Centre de Recherche sur l'Information Scientifique et Technique) in Algeria, I had the opportunity to design and develop an Epidemic Detection, Prevention, and Control System aimed at identifying and mitigating the spread of infectious diseases. This project involved the integration of several technologies including Python for backend processing, SQL databases for data storage, and Flutter for creating the mobile app interface. Key contributions: Developed algorithms for real-time epidemic monitoring and early detection based on data trends. Utilized XML and JSON for data exchange and system communication. Designed the user interface using Flutter and Android Studio, ensuring seamless cross-platform compatibility. Employed Django for backend development, managing the system's web-based interface. This project not only enhanced my technical skills but also deepened my understanding of public health systems and the role of technology in combating epidemics.
