Product: Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) to comply with J1772 standard • Served as Deputy Technical Lead and manager to lead R&D project (6 members) to deliver EVSE prototype in 6 months. Being responsible for work breakdown structure and project planning • Designed the EVSE system, including HMI (Linux/ QT-creator on Raspberry Pi) and EVSE (STM ARM), created technical documentation • Developed authentication on U-Boot using the Raspberry Pi control board • Reviewed/ guided team members in implementing and testing EVSE and HMI modules Product: OBDII ECU, LCD speed meter, Head-up display system (maintenance projects) • Developed software to receive CAN messages and store vehicle data (speed/RPM/ MIL/...) in local memory on Linux OS (Raspberry Pi/ QT-creator) • Built head-up display system using Arduino, controlled via CAN messages in RTOS • Managed project schedule and customer communication Product: Simulation tool support for testing like CANoe Mainly responsible for CAN bus simulator that is used for network testing of the ECU in a car • Designed MDF4 file writing • Implemented MDF4 file writing based on the ASAM MDF standard for communication in the system (C++/ QT-creator/ GCC) • Performed validation according to the management data format MDF tool using Oscilloscope and function generator

Product: SCADA Remote Terminal Unit Worked within the hardware department to research, design, develop, modify, and maintain embedded OS, PMON, firmware, application software, and device drivers for SCADA RTU and other support hardware. My job scope is microcontroller firmware development: • Built a diagnostic tool based on the Linux kernel to test and debug hardware elements on RTU, which ECU is ARM Cortex A8: internet, SRAM, LEDs, and mostly focus on UART/I2C/SPI protocol, PPP network) • Board brings up the new Linux OS version in terms of setting the device tree file • Customized Linux distribution with the Yocto project • Real-time Linux performance tuning • Used GitLab for version control

Product: Engine ECU Contributed to software development for Vehicle functions, which follows the complete RDCT (Requirement-Design-Coding-Testing) cycle, strictly follows the V-model cycle for Engine Control Unit software development, with main topics: Torque-based system, sensor & actuator control, Electrical system, Thermal system, and the like. My task is more relevant to: • Designed and reviewed software development based on customer requirement • Created and reviewed system test case (FCF, FCI) • Developed source code (C/C++), sometimes work with vector source code model (Eclipse, DGS build, Engine ECU Infineon TC1767) • Performed software validation on ETAS LabCar – automation environment • Managed small project in collaboration with Japan and India team using Clearcase platform
